Welcome to St Columba’s & The Holy Souls

A unique, caring and welcoming parish in North Leichhardt.

Our Mission is ‘Open to God, Reaching Out to Others’ and we seek to live this out through opportunities to participate and strengthen our spiritual and pastoral lives as individuals and together as a community of faith.

Our Church is co-located with our St Columba’s Primary School on Elswick Street between William and Allen Streets Leichhardt.

We run a successful parish based sacramental program. The parents’ involvement in the preparation of each sacrament of Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation, offers them an opportunity to walk together with their children on their spiritual journey.

Our Parish has an active Social Justice Group, St Vincent de Paul Conference and Craft Group. Opportunities for spiritual enrichment exist through participation as Eucharistic and Liturgical Ministers, the annual Lenten Program, or as a volunteer bringing the sacrament of Holy Communion to local nursing homes and the sick in the parish.

We also celebrate as a community through various social events throughout the year where celebrate and connect with each other as individuals and as a community of faith.
